Reticent

When I first met you ,
It was evident that your presence was heaven sent because in present tense everything else became… irrelevant
I must have died and gone to heaven because in that moment I was sold, gazing upon beauty sore eyes couldn’t hold Imagining you dancing to the beat of my heart down streets paved with gold, I said “Behold…. a Lady.”
Looking indescribable from every angle with a voice descendant from an angel.
Ears unfit to hear your melodies from heaven rain down on me, and a blind man could see your beauty was much more than skin deep. The way you spoke so eloquently, the way those eyes color of a Hawaiian breeze looked right through me. If only I had the courage to speak, then you wouldn’t just be the woman of my dreams.
